Ciguatera Awareness Event was a huge success
The Ciguatera Awareness Event held for Tom and Katie Pickett in the Kilauea Community Center Park was a huge success. More than 700 people showed up for the event. The gathering included a spagetti dinner, silent auction, kids corner, bake sale and 5 local bands playing music throughout the night. It was amazing to see a group of people that didn't necessarily know each other come together to honor a family and a cause. The whole night was truly a majical experience.
